privacy policy
what we collect. account data (email, @name, sign-in method), your on-channel activity (pitches, calls, chat, dms, comments, follows, ◆ ledger), device and usage data, and payment metadata (handled by stripe — card details never touch crowdtv).
what we use it for. running the channel (the queue, the ledger, the feed), safety and moderation, payments and receipts, service emails, and aggregate analytics to improve the show. we do not sell personal data.
what others see. your @name, profile gif, bio, scenes, comments and public counts are visible on the channel. private profiles limit scenes and bio to approved followers. dms are private between participants but pass the automated safety check.
retention & deletion. pause keeps your data intact but hidden. delete-forever removes your profile, scenes and social graph after the 7-day grace; ledgers and invoices are kept as long as tax law requires. you can request a copy or erasure of your data at any time.
advertising measurement. when you arrive at crowdtv.ai from an advertisement we use that platform's measurement pixel — currently the Reddit Pixel, operated by Reddit, Inc. — to tell the platform that its ad led to a visit, a sign-up or a purchase, so we can measure and pay for advertising. the pixel sets a first-party cookie (_rdt_uuid, 90 days) and receives page-visit and conversion events with a random conversion id, the product involved (for example "gem shop" or "crowdtv+") and the price. if you are signed in we also send a hashed (SHA-256) version of your e-mail address and a hashed account id so Reddit can match the event to a Reddit account for measurement; the hash is computed in your browser and your plain address is never sent to Reddit by us. Reddit's script may also read an e-mail address you type into our sign-in form and hash it the same way. ad click identifiers in the address bar (for example rdt_cid) stay on your device for up to 28 days for the same purpose. Reddit processes this data under its own privacy policy (redditinc.com/policies/privacy-policy); you can opt out of interest-based ads in your Reddit settings, and blocking third-party scripts in your browser disables the pixel without affecting the service. legal basis: your consent where the law requires it, otherwise our legitimate interest in measuring advertising. we do not sell this data and use it for nothing but measuring and optimising our advertising.
your rights. access, correction, export, erasure, and objection — write to crowd@crowdtv.ai. if you are in the EEA/UK you may also complain to your local authority.
